Neal Hockenberry was a son of William C. and Grace E. (Walton) Hockenberry. He was born June 22, 1914 and died April 1977. He married Kathryn E. Neff and they had the following children: William H., Shirley, Wayne H., Jean F. and Neal F.

Neal served in World War II.
