Abraham John Harbst was the son of Clair Harbst and Minnie Wileman Harbst. In 1956 he married Carol Ann Isenberg and they had two children: Bonny Renee Harbst born in 1957 and Kerry Lamarr Harbst born in 1968. Abe worked at the Harrisburg State Hospital in the late 50's and early 60's. He moved back to Port Royal from Harrisburg in 1965 and lived in the top floor apartment at 215 Milford Street, renting from Ted & Mary Bergstresser. He worked in Ted's garage and after Ted's death worked at Mexico Service Center and later at Leidy Chevrolet. Abe and Carol purchased their home at 215 Milford Street in 1974 and lived there until his death on Aug. 28, 2006.
