Gerald "Keith" Kepner was the youngest son of John C. and Gertrude (Smith) Kepner. He was a 1965 graduate of Tuscarora Valley High School. He married Francine (Pupello) in Tampa, Florida on May 27, 1979 and they have one daughter, Danielle and one grandson, Jayden.

Gerald was known as "Keith" during his childhood in Port Royal, but as "Jerry" after his military service and through the present.

OBITUARY for GERALD KEITH KEPNER

Gerald Keith Kepner, 69, of the Villages, FL. passed away January 27, 2016 at Cornerstone Hospice, Tavares, FL.

He was born September 3, 1946 to the late John C. Kepner and Gertrude (Smith) Kepner, Port Royal, PA.

His wife, Francine Pupello Kepner, whom he married on May 27, 1971 survives.

Also surviving are: daughter Danielle and her husband Jerod Hawkins; two grandsons, Jayden Keith, and Wyatt; brothers Bradford and Doris Kepner, Hershey, Leon and Mary Kepner, Mifflintown; sisters, Bernice and Charles James, SC; Andrea and Frank Aron, NJ; sister-in-law, Sylvia Kepner, Port Royal, Mother-in-law, Frances Pupello and brother-in-law, Frank Pupello, Tampa, FL; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers Ronald John in infancy, Donald Kepner, and sister-in-law Roberta Kepner.

He graduated from Tuscarora Valley High School in 1965, and served in the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam.

He was a great family loving man and enjoyed his woodworking craft.

Gerald retired from a local school district.

A memorial service will be held at Good Shepard Lutheran Church, Tampa FL. on Friday, February 13, 2016 at 11 a.m.
