Mabel Claire Short was a daughter of Samuel and Rachel Brown Short. She was born in Harrisburg, PA, December 31, 1925. She married Melvin Hood Garner. She died June 28, 1985.
Mabel and Melvin had three children: Clair, Roger, and Rachel.
