This POST CARD was designed by Dennis Hutchings for Barney Gray, owner of MacBarney's Restaurant in celebration of Port Royal's bicentennial. It includes the bicentennial logo and the logos for MacBarney's Restaurant, the Juniata County Fair and the Port Royal Speedway. It also has images of the Tuscarora Valley Railroad and two speedway sprint cars.

A Bicentennial History Committee has recently published: PERRYSVILLE TO PORT ROYAL - 1812-2012: A 200 YEAR JOURNEY. This is a book of 212 pages that includes 376 photographs.

BANNER PLACEMENT: On April 20, 2012, thirteen Welcome Banners, designed by Dennis Hutchings were placed throughout Port Royal alerting those passing through to the town's upcoming bicentennial celebration. Jeff Bossinger is shown in the photo placing one of the banners. Those who worked in placing the banners were Steve Bargo, Christ Ehrenzeller, Duane Graff and Bossinger. The Bicentennial Store, located at 410 Milford St., Port Royal, is now open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays. Items for sale in the shop include T-shirts, sweatshirt, pins, a Port Royal history book, a commemorative basket, ball caps, garden flags, decals, license plates and various types of bunting that residents can use to decorate their homes. MEMORIAL WALK: These inscribed bricks form a MEMORIAL WALK at the site of the former Airy View Academy, Port Royal High School and Tuscarora Valley high School. The bricks were sold as a way to fund Port Royal's Bicentennial Celebration.

The Route 75 sign announcing entry into Port Royal was refurbished and relocated for the 2012 Bicentennial Celebration. The sign is now prominently displayed at the Port Royal Borough Building and the former site of the Airy View Academy, Port Royal and Tuscarora Valley High Schools. On Memorial Day weekend Amelia Hartman McElwee and brother Fred Hartman examine the engraved pavers that were sold as a fundraising project for the Bicentennial Celebration. A concrete skirt has been placed around the bricks and metal benches have been installed at each end of the assembled bricks.
