Daniel Gable Brackbill was a son of Robert T. and Margaret Jane "Maggie" Jacobs Brackbill. He was born August 3, 1895 in Spruce Hill Township and died December 15, 1955. Daniel married Myrtle E. Smith and they had 13 children: Velma Ruth, Albert James, Vera, Elmer J., Earl S., Roberta Jeannette, Raymond P., Edna, Anna P., Rachel Margaret, George C., Mildred and Dorene.
