OBITUARY for BELVA FULTON

Belva O. Fulton, 88, of Port Royal, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, May 15, 2026 at home in the presence of her loving family.

Born January 1, 1938, in Port Royal, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Clara (Hart) Naylor. Her husband, Harry G. “Bud” Fulton, whom she married June 15, 1957, passed away on May 1, 2009.

She is survived by one daughter, Terri Jo Fulton-Smith and her husband, Roger Smith, of Port Royal, one son, William C. Fulton and wife, Janette, of Mt. Holly Springs, four grandchildren, Courtney Fanelli and husband, Albert, Thaddeus Smith, Julia Fulton and Tyler Fulton and fiancé, Kelsey Sharpé, and two sisters, Thelma “Tink” Haubert and husband, Ty, of Stuart, FL, and Cora “Cork” Boyer of Conroe, TX.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Solt and one brother, John Naylor.

Belva graduated from Tuscarora Valley High School in 1955.

She worked as a Federal Employee at Letterkenny Army Depot to help put her husband through college. She also worked as a teller at the First National Bank of Mifflintown and retired from the Juniata County School District as a payroll and insurance clerk.

She was a member of Port Royal Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Port Royal Book Club.

She enjoyed traveling and fly fishing with her husband, playing cards, reading, quilting and was a marvelous cook. She especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.

There will be a closed casket visitation beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, at the Port Royal Presbyterian Church, corner of Main and Fourth Streets, Port Royal, followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Renita Green, officiating. Interment will be in Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to Port Royal Presbyterian Church, PO Box 387, Port Royal, PA 17082 or to Geisinger Hospice, 106 Derry Heights, Suite 302, Lewistown, PA 17044.
