The Walter Witmer Book farm sits at the east entrance to the Juniata River Bridge at the foot of Tyson's Hill. Walter Witmer Book was married to Matilda Belle Ritzman and they had the following children who were raised on the farm: Myrna (Boyer), Jane (Frankhouse), Charles, Leona, and Carolyn (McCreary).
