OBITUARY FOR WILLIAM ELLIOTT TOWSEY, JR

WILLIAM E."BUD" TOWSEY, JR. died Wednesday, June 21, 1995 at the Lewistown Hospital.

Born May 14, 1917, in Port Royal, he was a son of the late W. E. and Orpha Ada (Stuber) Towsey, Sr.

Surviving are: sisters, Mrs. Neil (Helen) Shope of Shermansdale, Mrs. James (Jean) Erwin of Pleasanton, Texas, Mrs. Walter (Gladys) Hosterman of Naples Fla., Mrs. Melvin (Betty) Daughenbaugh of Port Royal.

He was a 1935 graduate of the Port Royal High School, a 1939 graduate of Ursinus College, Collegeville, the Central Penn Business College, Harrisburg and Drexel University, Philadelphia.

Mr. Towsey was a veteran of World War II, having served in the US Army.

He was a member of the Port Royal Lutheran Church and the Port Royal Senior Citizens Center, and was also a member of Union Logan No. 324 F&AM, Mifflintown and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Juniata Forest No. 88.

Services were held at the Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with the Rev. Claude Baublitz officiating. Interment was in the Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
