OBITUARY for EARL C. NEFF
EARL C. NEFF, 75, of Port Royal RR3 [Tuscarora] died at 11:50 p.m., Friday, May 9, 1997, at Brookline Manor Convalescent Home, Mifflintown RR1.
Born September 22, 1921 in Turbett Township, Juniata County, he was a son of the late Harvey H. and Jennie Della [Wharton] Neff. His wife, Kathryn A. [Coon] Neff, whom he married February 2, 1942, survives.
Also surviving are a son, Kenneth E. Neff, Port Royal RR2, and two grandchildren. He was the last of his immediate family, having been preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Neff, and a sister, Kathryn Hockenberry.
He was a retired truck driver, having worked for Womeldorf Trucking, Reynoldsville.
He was a member of Port Royal Lutheran Church and Turbett Grange No. 781.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Rex Funeral Home, Port Royal, with Rev. Kathleen M. Kinney officiating. Interment was in New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal.
