MIFFLINTOWN: M. Leone McKee, 86, formerly of RR 4 Mifflintown, died at 4:15 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, 2009 at Ohesson Manor in Lewistown.
Born June 26, 1923 in Port Royal, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. Goodman and Bertha (Reader) Goodman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband G. Thomas McKee who died in 1961.
She is survived by a daughter, Patty Woodward of Carlisle.
Also surviving: a sister, Anna Ruth Dullea of William Penn Nursing Home, Lewistown; two grandchildren, Brandy and Zachary Woodward.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Goodman and two sisters, Martha McLaughlin and Mildred Kochenderfer.
She was a 1941 graduate of the Port Royal High School. She was a seamstress having worked for the former Rae-Sel Corp., Port Royal and later worked for the Pa. Department of Agriculture in Harrisburg.
She was a member of the Port Royal Lutheran Church.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Aug. 18, 2009 at the Rex Funeral Home in Port Royal with the Rev. Charles L. Hershberger officiating.
A viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Aug. 18, 2009, also at the funeral home.
