Jim Towsey was a son of Paul Snyder and Susan Elizabeth (Ritzman) Towsey. He attended Freedom and Tuscarora Valley High Schools. He was born March 7, 1935. He married Helen Blanch Kessler. They had three children: Jane, Ada and Brian.
