Muriel Moyer was the younger of two daughters of William and Audrey (Hanawalt) Moyer. She was born in Port Royal in 1950. She married William Elliott and they had two children, John and Jennifer. (Muriel spent part of her life on the Moyer Farm in Port Royal before her family moved to a farm near Thompsontown.)
