This house sits at the southeast corner of Main and Second Streets. It sits directly across Main Street from the front of Kohler Farm Supply.

Through the 1940s and 50s this house was the home of the Wayne "Brownie" and Elizabeth (Groninger) McCachren family. Their four daughters (Martha, Ruth, Mabel and Dorothy) were raised here.

Eventually it became the home of John and Erie (Booher) Amtower.
