William "Alvin" Leonard (b. 22 Dec 1909 - d. 21 Dec 1944), and his wife Isabelle (Barton) Leonard (b. 11 Dec 1916 - d. 31 Dec 1995) owned and operated this grocery store on the northeast corner of Market and Fifth Streets. Alvin was a son of Norman Blaine Leonard (1884-1949) and his wife Ida Viola (Rapp) Leonard (1886-1934).
This building will be used to house the Plumbing, Heating and Appliance business of John Isenberg after World War II.
