OBITUARY for RAYMOND BANKS GRAY

RAYMOND B. GRAY, 63, of Port Royal RR2, died at 5:10 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2004, at Brookline Manor, Mifflintown RR1.

Born April 6, 1941, in Perulack, Juniata County, he was the son of the late William Banks and Thelma Arlene [Campbell] Gray. His wife, Nancylee [Horning] Gray, survives.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Raymond Lee Gray and wife, Kimbra Jo, Port Royal RR2; one sister, Janie Cooper, Port Royal RR2; eight grandchildren, Heather Leigh Gray, Rachel Arlene Gray, William Lee Gray, Casey Ann Gray, Samantha Rae Gray, Shelbylyn Long, Darwin Tyler Long and Travis Banks Long.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Karen Ann Gray and Cynthia J. "Cindy" Long.

He was a member of Port Royal United Methodist Church, Port Royal and he was a 1959 graduate of Tuscarora Valley High School.

He was a retired self-employed farmer.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, January 4, at Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal RR2 with Pastor Barbara Inch officiating.

The Mifflintown Chapel of Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., was entrusted with the arrangements.
