Esther Ann was born on June 11, 1822 and she married John McCachren. They had the following children: William Henry, Samuel Landis, Elisa Ann, Salina Jane, Mary Catherine, Harvey Luther, John Wesley, George Albert, and Emma Rebecca.
She died at Mifflin on December 22, 1891, aged 69 years, 5 months, and 8 days, and was buried in St. Stephen's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Licking Creek Valley.
