Marion graduated from Geisinger Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1931. She always knew what she wanted to be - a nurse. The $2 she made at the hotel, she bought material to make a dress. Back to her nursing career. She said work was scarce during the depression and she remembers playing solitaire for days waiting for the phone to ring to go to work. Later Marion became the school nurse for 22 years in Juniata County.
