On the northwest corner of Tuscarora and Third Streets lived a gentleman by the name of Harry Davis and his mother. Harry lived there many years after his mother's death. He had been an employee of the Port Royal Post Office. Lots of interesting stories here also.

(Recollection from JoAn Bashore Slautterback of the houses, owners, and occupants of Fiddlers Green, from the late 30s and 40s. as published in the Port Royal Times 2004.)
