OBITUARY for DAVID EVANS WISEHAUPT

DAVID EVANS WISEHAUPT, 39, of Port Royal RD1, died Thursday [7-20-1972] at 9 p.m. in his home. Death was attributed to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Born July 11, 1933, in Spruce Hill Township, he was the son of Mrs. Margaretta Towsey Wisehaupt and the late Joseph A. Wisehaupt of Port Royal RD1.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his widow, Edna Phillips Wisehaupt; three children, Debra R., Rodney E., and Karen L., all at home; one brother, J. Larry of Port Royal RD1; and three sisters, Mrs. Harry J. (Ruth) Roe of Mifflin Star Route, Mrs. Simon (Mary) Nipple of McAlisterville, and Mrs. Reynolds (Helen) Shearer of Port Royal RD1.

A farmer, Mr. Wisehaupt was a member of the Port Royal Lutheran Church, the Spruce Hill Grange, the ASCS Committee, and the Pennsylvania Holstein Association.

Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Stimmel Funeral Home at Port Royal with Rev. Henry Springer officiating. Friends will be received Sunday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be made in the Bunkertown Cemetery.
