VERNA MABEL BOOK is the daughter of the late Harold Holmes "Brother" and Madelon Elizabeth (Stitt) Book. She was born in 1940. She graduated from Tuscarora Valley High School in the Class of 1958 and the Geisinger Hospital School of Nursing in 1961.
Verna married William A. Gilliland and they currently [2014] reside on a farm in Turbett Township where they raise trotting horses.
