Foster Cleveland KEPNER

LARGE SNAKE: Jane Book (l) and Foster Kepner (r) hold a large 8 foot Boa Constrictor that Jane found on the Albert Sarver property on Milford Street of Port Royal. The snake apparently escaped from a carnival side show at the Juniata County Fairgrounds. The snake was shot by Foster and Jane's brother Walter McCahan.

Foster Kepner was a son of Josiah and Annie Kepner. He was born in 1882 and died in 1952. He married Martha J. Walters. Foster and Martha had the following children: John, Brady, Rebecca, Helen and Jessie.
