OBITUARY for RAYMOND PAUL YODER

RAYMOND P. YODER, 60, of Port Royal, RD1, died at 1:30 am today in the Lewistown Hospital following a lengthy illness.

He was born May 11, 1912, in Spruce Hill Township, Juniata County, a son of the late John E. and Charlotte Weimer Yoder. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Philippines for 2 1/2 years; a member of the Matamoras United Methodist Church and Sunday School, and a trustee of the church.

Surviving are his wife, the former Mary P. Moyer; a son, John P. Yoder, Port Royal Rd1; a daughter, Mrs. James (Donna) Barton, Port Royal RD2; five brothers, Carl Y of Millerstown and Graydon L, Lester W., Lloyd E. and Leroy J., all of Port Royal RD1; two sisters, Mrs. Wallace (Lena) Houser of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Harold (Vivian) Rickabaugh of Dillsburg; and three grandchildren.

Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 am in the Stimmel Funeral Home at Port Royal in charge of his pastor Rev. Robert Plant. Interment will be made in the New Church Hill Memorial Gardens at Port Royal.

Friends will be received at the funeral home Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Military services will be conducted by the Juniata County Veterans Council.
