Stewart Tanner Brackbill was a son of William and Nellie (Hartman) Brackbill. He was born in Turbett Township, September 6, 1838 and died in Fannett Twp., Franklin Co., June 9, 1875.
Stewart married Jennie Hockenberry and they had two sons, Clarence Vernon and Frank Willis.
Stewart served with the 49th Pennsylvania Volunteers during the Civil War.
