PORT ROYAL - M. Maxene Camp, 92, of Port Royal and formerly of Tulsa, Okla. and Norristown, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at the home of her sister, Janet Imes.

Born April 20, 1920, in East Waterford, she was a daughter of the late James and Sarah (Reeder) Hurrell. Her husband, Claude S. Camp, died on Oct. 22, 1999.

She is survived by: one brother, Norman Hurrell, of Dauphin; two sisters, Helen I. Imes, of Mifflin, and Janet Y. Imes and husband, Sam, of Port Royal; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: four brothers, Harold, Banks, Roland and James Lester Hurrell; and four sisters, Hazel Ross, Nellie Fogleman, Emogene Larrimore Fry, and Janice Hope Hurrell.

Maxene retired from the King of Prussia Post Office and was a member of the New Life Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed reading, baking and spending time with her dogs. Her family was especially important to her.

A graveside service and interment will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, at the East Waterford Cemetery with Pastors Casey Hostler and David Stewart officiating. There will be no viewing.
